I am a second year education student at the University of Regina. I am enrolled in the Secondary Education Program majoring in Mathematics, and minoring in French and Physical Education.
I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. I graduated from LeBoldus Catholic High school in 2017, with a immersion certificate. This means that I am fluent in French and English. Throughout my life I have played a wide variety of sports from Hockey, to Basketball, to Softball, and Soccer. Being active was a huge part of my childhood. While playing hockey I began to to officiate hockey with the Saskatchewan Hockey Association, based out of Regina. A couple random facts about me are that I played the trumpet for six years, I am hockey coach, and I LOVE to travel and be outdoors. I had the opportunity to take part in the Explore Program, once in Montreal and once in Trois- Rivières, where I took french classes during the summers and even had the chance to work in Quebec, to fully immerse myself in the language.
I hope this blog will provide you with some further insights to who I am, my teaching philosophy, interesting things that I will learn, and some insights on my professional work experiences!
